Myofascial Release Therapy

Fascia can become constricted due to trauma such as illness and other physical and psychological stresses. If it becomes tight, fascia can pull muscles and bones out of place resulting in pain and lack of mobility. Fascia as well as muscle must be released for long-lasting effect.

Myofascial Release uses long, sustained pressure to stretch the fascia. This removes the tightness and associated pain and discomfort. Release of unconscious emotional material frequently accompanies release of the fascia.
